CleanSprint: Designing a Trust-Centred On-Demand Home Cleaning Platform for Urban Households in Greater Jakarta
Nora Listiana, S.S.T., MIT
Jakarta Global University
Indonesia had 229.43 million internet users in 2025, yet app-based home cleaning remains a fragmented market because customers must admit strangers into their homes. Trust in home service applications drives repurchase intention, and platforms offering standardised services benefit most from institutional trust mechanisms. This study designs and analyses CleanSprint, an on-demand home cleaning platform for urban households in Greater Jakarta, to show how trust mechanisms can be embedded in a start-upâs business model and user interface. Following the Design Science Research Methodology, the study combines target market analysis, the Business Model Canvas, SWOT analysis, a service flow diagram, an interface prototype and an investment cost analysis. The results identify married, middle-income households aged 25â44 as the core segment and map seven trust mechanisms to specific features: verified cleaner profiles, ratings and reviews, SOP-based quality assurance, upfront package pricing, real-time progress tracking, data protection and the CeeS Points loyalty scheme. The discussion shows that the design is strong on trust but faces three tensions: possible disintermediation, two-way privacy for customers and cleaners, and an unresolved choice between employee and partner models within an IDR 870 million plan weighted towards office set-up. The study contributes a trust-feature mapping that links institution-based trust theory to concrete design decisions and offers a practical checklist for service entrepreneurs in emerging markets.

Design and System Integration of a Multisensor Smart Glove for Inclusive SIBI Communication
Ir. Mauludi Manfaluthy, S.T., M.T.
Jakarta Global University
Communication between SIBI users and people unfamiliar with sign language remains a challenge in inclusive social interactions. Addressing this challenge requires assistive technologies that consider not only gesture recognition but also the integration of sensing, information processing, and accessible communication interfaces. This work presents an engineering design perspective on the development of a multisensor smart glove for inclusive SIBI communication. The development process focuses on coordinating complementary sensing modalities, embedded processing, wireless connectivity, and mobile interaction within a unified wearable system. Finger movement, hand orientation, and contact pressure are captured through multiple sensors, while Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) supports the temporal matching of gesture patterns. At the interaction level, speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) functions connect spoken input and synthesized speech with the mobile-based communication interface. The completed prototype illustrates the practical integration of these subsystems into a wearable assistive communication platform. From a system engineering perspective, the work highlights the importance of coordinating heterogeneous hardware, gesture-processing mechanisms, communication links, and user-facing interfaces when translating an assistive technology concept into a functional prototype. Further development should address recognition reliability, usability, and performance across different users and communication settings. This work contributes an engineering-oriented perspective on the development of multisensor wearable technology for inclusive SIBI communication and provides a basis for subsequent refinement and user-centered evaluation.

Multichannel Blue Financing and Maritime MSME Management in Coastal java
Zakia Maulida Antono, S.S.T., M.Mgt.
Politeknik Negeri Semarang
Access to finance remains a practical constraint for coastal enterprises, but a wider choice of lenders does not necessarily translate into stronger business management. This study examines the relationship between multichannel blue financing (MCBF) and the management of maritime micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in coastal Java, Indonesia. It reports the quantitative phase of a planned sequential explanatory mixed-methods study. A purposive sample of 500 maritime MSMEs completed a five-point Likert questionnaire. Partial least squares structural equation modeling used a two-stage reflectiveâreflective hierarchical specification and 5,000 bootstrap resamples. The reported results indicate a positive association between MCBF and MSME management (ÎČ = 0.646, t = 19.39, p < .001; 95% confidence interval [0.582, 0.713]). The model explains 41.7% of the variance in management scores (RÂČ = 0.417; fÂČ = 0.715). Higher-order composite reliability ranges from 0.913 to 0.942, average variance extracted from 0.636 to 0.669, and the between-construct heterotraitâmonotrait ratio is 0.702. The findings support an association between broader financing support and stronger management practices, while leaving causal direction, financing-channel complementarity, and environmental outcomes unresolved. Practical implications concern coordinated finance referrals, financing suited to seasonal cash flows, and assistance with business records.

Effect of siRNAâs chemical modifications on the duplex stability in blood plasma
David Bagaev
Sechenov University
Background: Chemical modification of small interfering RNA (siRNA) is a promising strategy for improving resistance to nuclease-mediated degradation, a major limitation for therapeutic applications. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of terminal locked nucleic acid (LNA) and DNA modifications on the stability of siRNA duplexes in blood plasma. Materials and Methods: Chemically modified siRNA duplexes were designed by introducing LNA nucleotides into terminal regions and incorporating DNA nucleotides while preserving the central duplex structure. Stability was assessed by incubating modified and unmodified siRNA duplexes in 50% BALB/c mouse plasma at 37 °C for up to 168 h. Degradation kinetics were evaluated using agarose gel electrophoresis followed by densitometric analysis. Half-life (T1/2) values were determined from three independent experiments. Results: Unmodified siRNA duplexes exhibited half-lives of 23 ± 8 h and 25 ± 7 h, whereas their LNA/DNA-modified counterparts demonstrated increased stability, with half-lives of 50 ± 16 h and 76 ± 10 h, respectively. The most stable modified duplex showed an approximately threefold increase in half-life compared with its unmodified counterpart. In an additional duplex pair, terminal modifications increased the half-life from 12.3 h to 23.0 ± 0.6 h, corresponding to an approximately 87% improvement. Conclusions: Selective terminal incorporation of LNA and DNA nucleotides enhanced siRNA duplex resistance to nuclease-mediated degradation in mouse plasma. These findings demonstrate the potential of terminal chemical modifications to improve siRNA stability in biological fluids.

An Off Grid IoT Communication Hub for Emergency Reporting in Post Disaster Scenarios
Cut Qatrunada Nasywa Mahadewi
Universitas Bung Hatta
Large-scale natural disasters frequently destroy broadband telecommunication networks, leaving victims isolated without access to emergency services. Existing IoT warning platforms rely heavily on active internet connectivity, rendering them non-functional during severe infrastructure blackouts. This study introduces PELITA (Prototipe Elektronik Layanan Informasi Telekomunikasi Alternatif), a portable off-grid emergency communication system combining an ESP32 Wi-Fi Captive Portal with a SIM800L GSM SMS Gateway. The ESP32 operates as an autonomous SoftAP with DNS interception, allowing disaster victims to connect via standard smartphone browsers and submit emergency reports containing victim details, location, and situational status without internet access, cellular data, or application installation. The system evaluates GSM network registration via AT commands and dispatches structured reports to search and rescue (SAR) post numbers via Short Message Service (SMS). An offline queue mechanism preserves telemetry during signal loss and automatically retries transmission upon signal restoration. Hardware evaluations confirmed standalone operation powered by an 18650 Li-ion battery pack. The web interface incorporates a dark-mode theme for display power optimization and serves real-time system status indicators. Field testing demonstrated 100% data transmission accuracy to SAR posts under registered GSM signal conditions without payload corruption. PELITA offers a low-cost, rapidly deployable, and zero-configuration solution for early disaster assessment and SAR coordination when conventional broadband networks fail.

Analysis of SSH Brute-Force Attack Detection on Linux Servers Using the Random Forest Algorithm Based on auth.log
Satila Livia Hendry
Universitas Bung Hatta
Secure Shell (SSH) is widely used for remote Linux server administration, but repeated unauthorized login attempts can indicate brute-force attacks. Recent studies have examined machine-learning approaches for detecting brute-force activity on SSH and related services. This study designs and implements a system to detect and classify SSH login activity using the Linux auth.log file and the Random Forest algorithm. The workflow includes log collection, preprocessing, feature extraction, dataset preparation, model training and testing, and presentation of classification results through a web dashboard developed with Flask. The model classifies login activity into four threat levels: Low, Medium, High, and Critical. Evaluation on 178 test records yielded 100% accuracy, with precision, recall, and F1-score of 1.00 for each class; the reported area under the ROC curve (AUC) was also 1.00 for all classes. The confusion matrix showed no misclassified records in this test set. The dashboard displays SSH login statistics, threat-level distribution, and IP addresses with the highest login activity, supporting administrators in reviewing potentially suspicious events. These results indicate that the implemented system performed well on the evaluated dataset. Further testing on more diverse, independently collected logs is needed to assess generalization to other server environments.

Development of a Web-Based TikTok Content Planner Using Agile Scrum for Integrated Content Planning and Production Monitoring
Nashua Queentra Balqis
Jakarta Global University
TikTokâs popularity in Indonesia creates opportunities for educational and other digital content. The Association of Indonesian Internet Service Providers identified TikTok as the most frequently accessed social media platform in its 2026 survey (APJII, 2026). Yet content management requires coordinated ideation, scheduling, production tracking, and timely publication. Manual records can make progress difficult to monitor and planned posts easier to miss (Sabyla & Hadiyanto, 2025). This study developed a web-based planner to support structured TikTok content management. The system was developed through four Agile Scrum sprints, including planning, implementation, daily scrum, review, and retrospective. Features include content-idea management, a planner, publication calendar, dashboard, profile management, and reminders linked to content schedules and statuses. Functionality was assessed through black-box testing; user acceptance was assessed using a 10-item Likert-scale User Acceptance Testing (UAT) questionnaire. All documented black-box test scenarios operated as expected. UAT yielded an average score of 86%: learnability, efficiency, and memorability scored 90%, while errors and satisfaction scored 80%. These findings indicate functional feasibility and favorable initial acceptance in the case study. However, UAT involved one user, limiting generalizability. The study does not demonstrate increased views or audience engagement. The website brings content ideas, scheduling, calendar planning, and reminders into one platform. Further evaluation with more creators is needed to assess broader usability and its practical effect on publication consistency.

Design and Development of a Company Profile Website Prototype as a Branding and Promotion Medium for PT Angkasa Karya Medika
Rastika Ayu
Jakarta Global University
Internet penetration in Indonesia reached 81.72% in 2026 (APJI, 2026), shifting consumer behaviour towards digital channels and pushing companies to build their brand through digital media (Dewi, 2024). PT Angkasa Karya Medika, a medical device distributor founded in 2025 in Bogor, still relies on direct communication, a printed catalogue owned by its parent company, and marketplace account managed individually by marketers, so its corporate identity remains poorly recognized. This study aims to design and build a company profile website prototype as a branding and promotion medium. The scope is limited to the prototype stage, covering company information, a digital catalogue of rapid test product, and customer contact channels; deployment and impact measurement are excluded. Needs were identified through observation at the company, and system was developed using a prototyping approach. The prototype was verified using black box testing. The result is a functional prototype presenting the company profile, organizational information, a digital product catalogue, and link to WhatsApp sales. Black box testing showed that website produced the expected output. the prototype provides a structured, easily updated digital medium that can support the companyâs branding and promotion, consistent with findings that websites strengthen professional image and customer loyalty (Mubarok & Zaida Muflih, 2024). Future work includes deployment and evaluating its effect on brand awareness.

Jakarta Global University
Embankment slope stability is a critical concern in toll road construction due to variations in soil conditions and external loads that may increase the risk of slope failure. Appropriate stability analysis and reinforcement are therefore essential to ensure safe and reliable infrastructure. This study aims to compare embankment slope stability using GeoStudio SLOPE/W and PLAXIS 2D, verify the results using the Simplified Bishop method, and evaluate the effectiveness of geotextile reinforcement at STA 38+000 of the Klatenâ Purwomartani Toll Road Project, Section 1, Package 1.2. Embankment heights of 4, 6, and 8 m were analyzed under various loading conditions. PLAXIS 2D employed the finite element method (FEM), while GeoStudio SLOPE/W used the limit equilibrium method (LEM). The Simplified Bishop method was applied for additional verification, and the results were evaluated against the minimum factor of safety is 1.5 specified in SNI 8460:2017. The results identified the 8 m embankment under combined loading as the critical condition. Without geotextile reinforcement, the safety factors were 1.000 in PLAXIS 2D and 1.321 in SLOPE/W. After reinforcement, these values increased to 1.803 and 2.194, respectively. The PLAXIS 2D safety factor increased by approximately 80%, and both reinforced models satisfied the minimum safety requirement. Under critical loading, PLAXIS 2D produced a more conservative safety factor than SLOPE/W. These findings demonstrate that geotextile reinforcement significantly improves embankment slope stability. Comparative analysis using different methods also provides valuable insights into numerical model performance and supports safer, more reliable, and sustainable slope stabilization design for toll road infrastructure.

Pakuan University
Vernonia amygdalina is a medicinal plant containing various bioactive compounds with potential antihypertensive properties. Microencapsulation technology has been explored as a formulation strategy to improve the physicochemical characteristics of plant-derived extracts. This study aimed to evaluate the antihypertensive efficacy of microencapsulated ethanolic extract of Vernonia amygdalina leaves in experimentally induced hypertensive rats. An experimental in vivo study was conducted using SpragueâDawley rats with hypertension induced by prednisone (1.5 mg/kg body weight) and 2% NaCl for four weeks. The animals were divided into seven groups: normal control, negative control, positive control, non-encapsulated extract, and three microencapsulated extract groups receiving doses of 75, 100, and 150 mg/kg body weight. Antihypertensive efficacy was evaluated by measuring systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), and mean arterial pressure (MAP). Administration of the microencapsulated extract reduced SBP by 22.69%, 23.11%, and 25.55% at doses of 75, 100, and 150 mg/kg, respectively. The positive control and non-encapsulated extract groups demonstrated SBP reductions of 24.51% and 26.58%, respectively, whereas the negative control showed a change of â0.84%. Final MAP values were 90.21, 88.76, and 86.11 mmHg in the microencapsulated groups, compared with 118.32 mmHg in the negative control group. The 150 mg/kg dose exhibited the greatest numerical antihypertensive response among the microencapsulated treatment groups. Microencapsulated ethanolic extract of Vernonia amygdalina leaves demonstrated antihypertensive activity in experimentally induced hypertensive rats. The 150 mg/kg dose produced the greatest observed SBP reduction among the microencapsulated formulations, supporting further investigation of this formulation as a potential plant-derived antihypertensive candidate.

Molecular Docking of Major Boesenbergia rotunda Compounds against Human EGFR Kinase Using Structure-Based Drug Design
Rasinda Nadira Adiputri
Jakarta Global University
Lung cancer is still a leading cause of cancer death, and the emergence of resistance to epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-targeted therapy keeps alive the need for ligands with diverse structures. Ten phytochemicals from Boesenbergia rotunda were docked into the EGFR kinase domain (PDB ID: 8A27) and then characterized by qualitative pharmacophore profiling in LigandScout. Docking in AutoDock used a Lamarckian genetic algorithm with a grid centered at x = 24.702, y = â10.003, and z = â13.378 Ă , 100 docking runs, and a maximum of 250,000 energy evaluations. Re-docking the native ligand KY9 reproduced its crystallographic pose with an RMSD of 1.230 Ă , within the predefined cut-off of 2.0 Ă . Boesenbergin A ranked first among the phytochemicals (â9.96 kcal/mol; estimated Ki 49.76 nM), followed by boesenbergin B (â9.50 kcal/mol) and pinocembrin (â9.13 kcal/mol), yet none bound as favorably as KY9 (â14.43 kcal/mol). Boesenbergin A interacted with Lys745 and with several other residues that also line the native-ligand pocket, and its pharmacophore map retained a Lys745-directed acceptor feature along with multiple hydrophobic regions. These results make boesenbergin A a candidate for further EGFR-targeted study, although biochemical and cellular validation is still required.
